Open Original Images from Kinja Posts is an add-on for users of the open-source browser Chrome.

This extension will display an image that was posted to one of Gawker Media’s blogs in its original, non-cropped state. To make things more convenient, it allows you to open the image in a new tab, where it can be expanded to its full size.

To get started, simply make sure that the extension is installed and configured in your Chrome browser.

First, go to the website you want to view, open the app for it (if necessary), then enter your username and password.

Now, just tap the image to view it. If you want to make it a permanent link, right-click on the image and select “Copy image URL,” then paste it into your browser’s address bar.
